Why trust Phoenix Security Systems?

You don’t have to pay more for security.

First and foremost, Phoenix Security is unrivaled when it comes to the level of service provided to Home and Business owners. As a locally-owned company operating in a concentrated region of Massachusetts, we are able to give you a level of personal attention that you will not get from nationwide providers. We are a fully licensed, insured, and bonded provider, staffed with trained and certified professionals. We give each client an individual assessment, and provide solutions for their specific needs.

Burglar alarm monitoring is the tentpole of any major security company, and Phoenix offers the most comprehensive and dependable services available. We install reliable, user friendly systems made by Honeywell, the largest manufacturer of alarm equipment in the world. The systems are monitored 24/7 by a UL-listed central station, using the latest in surveillance software and telecommunications services. Should an emergency occur, our fully staffed team of local dispatchers will notify the authorities for an instant response.

Our licensed technicians are dispatched via a state-of-the-art, web-based service/dispatch system. Each technician is equipped with a 4G tablet that allows real time updates of your job’s progress to be emailed to you and your Phoenix Security account representative. You will never need to wonder about the status of an installation or repair. This system also tracks service history, placing all necessary, pertinent information in the hands of the technician.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will my alarm work with FIOS or DSL?

It can work, but you should contact your alarm dealer prior to making any change in telephone services. After making a change, your alarm should be professionally tested to ensure the signals are correctly transmitted. Please see our alarm basics page for more information.

Does an alarm technician need to be licensed?

Yes! The company must possess a Systems Contractors License to work in Massachusetts. Each technician must have a system technician’s license, although every technician on a job is allowed to supervise one apprentice.

Check a License

Also every employee of a company that installs security systems must obtain a certificate of clearance from the Department of Public Safety. You should DEMAND to see this certificate from anyone connected with the company and your security system.

Can you beat the deal I saw on TV for an alarm costing $99?

No, and we won’t try. Before accepting any deal that seems to be to good to believe, get all of the information. Find out how much the monthly monitoring fee is, and the length of the contract. Also, there is no possible way to determine what type of protection you need without a site survey and a review of the needs of the client.

Why do you need to look at my home or office?

Can your mechanic tell you what is wrong with your car before he sees it? Can your accountant tell you how much you owe in taxes before reviewing your books? Of course not, how can I tell you what you need for protection without looking at your home or business? We provide free basic evaluations and quotes.

If you don’t have a security system in place already, here are some statistics that you should know:

More than 2,000,000 home burglaries are reported each year in the United States, that’s one about every 15 seconds.

About 30 percent of all burglars gain access to the home through an open or unlocked window or door.

65 percent of all burglaries are home break-ins.

1 out of 3 residential assaults are a result of a burglary.

Renters are just as likely to be the victims of property crime as homeowners.

Most burglaries occur during the summer months.

Homes without security systems are up to 300% more likely to be burglarized.
